An Eye-Brain-Hand Component Supplier
Mech-Mind does not manufacture complete robots. Instead, it supplies what it describes as standardized “eye-brain-hand” intelligent components: Mech-Eye industrial 3D cameras for perception, its proprietary Mech-GPT large multimodal model for decision-making, and Mech-Hand biomimetic dexterous robotic end-effectors for execution. The prospectus states that its systems use 3D vision to capture point cloud data for spatial perception and deep-learning AI algorithms trained on industrial data, enabling autonomous recognition, decision-making, and motion planning under conditions such as random stacking, reflective surfaces, and partial occlusion without manual programming.
The company’s products had been sold in almost 50 countries and regions as of the prospectus’s latest practicable date. It accumulated 1,605 customers who had placed orders as of March 31, 2026. Revenue grew from RMB180.8 million in 2023 to RMB268.8 million in 2024 and RMB388.8 million in 2025, a compound annual growth rate of 46.6%, and reached RMB106.9 million in the three months ended March 31, 2026, up 73.1% from the same period a year earlier. The company recorded net losses throughout the period, including RMB360.2 million in 2025.
Early Backing and Market Position
Qiming Venture Partners, an early investor, said in a company announcement that Mech-Mind became the first listed embodied intelligence “Eye-Brain-Hand” company. Qiming exclusively invested in Mech-Mind’s Round A+ financing in early 2019 and held a 7.38% stake before the IPO, making it one of the firm’s senior independent investors under the Chapter 18C rules.
The investor’s announcement, citing company figures, said Mech-Mind had deployed over 29,000 units of its products globally as of June 15, 2026, used in more than 50 typical scenarios across dozens of industries and serving more than 100 Fortune Global 500 companies including CATL, BYD, Midea, and Foxconn. Calculated by 2025 revenue, the company held about a 22.1% share of the global market for AI and 3D vision-guided general intelligent robot components, ranking first, and its shipment share exceeded 27%, according to the announcement.
“The integration of artificial intelligence and robotics is one of the greatest opportunities of our time,” said Shao Tianlan, Chairman, Executive Director, and Chief Executive Officer of Mech-Mind Robotics. “Seizing this opportunity requires not a brainwave of a few geniuses, but sustained efforts in technology and product development.”
Alex Zhou, Managing Partner of Qiming Venture Partners, said the firm invested in 2019 because it was optimistic about intelligent robotics and the application of AI in the physical world. He added that Qiming expects Mech-Mind to become a core supplier of physical AI infrastructure.
